Arduino-Controlled ScorpionRobot I took an old Scorpion Robot by Evolution Robotics and replaced the bespoke hardware controller with an Arduino Uno and associated components. Everything except the cable looms, which I made myself, are available off-the-shelf.

    This is exactly what teaching the next generation looks like. Sit back, guide them..shut up unless asked for guidance and let them grow and make mistakes. Be there for them and be prepared with the knowledge they may need

    Can this be extended to monkey bar? Any engineers who would be kind to provide specific lengths of wood - to create a reasonably sized spherical monkey bars using this technique?

      I'm not English native speaker, I thought you mean a place where monkeys go to drink and u're from PETA and suggesting this "brilliant" idea, and was about to google monkey bars since it appeared like its a thing, but I realized what it is before googling that

      as much as the shear force on the 1-1/4 dia rod can happen it can carry an adult using 2x4s for crosspieces it can be a real walking bridge

    Good to watch. Practical lesson, proof of theory, pride in result. Next, lash each conjunction, make it strong and long lasting. Then find something that needs bridging. Then make a footway. Then really enjoy it.
